Story
Colliding two uniquely diverse worlds together, Bar Mitzvah In Birmingham tells the fictional story of an Orthodox Jewish family which moves to a small town outside Birmingham, Alabama. As they struggle to adapt to life in the South, their fish-out-of-water story provides the backdrop for an important dialogue about systemic racism and the “New South.”
