Sergio Trujilo is an internationally renowned theater choreographer and director, multiple Tony Award winner and immigrant himself with a very powerful life story. He has worked on 12 Broadway Musicals and has made an impressive name for himself among many, including Broadway theater owners. Trujillo has won a Tony Award for Best Choreography for his work on Ain’t Too Proud where he was the first Latinx recipient of the award and received a Tony Award nomination for On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan. His multi-faceted career has earned him two NAACP awards and two Emmy Award nominations. He is one of the makers of the global sensation Jersey Boys and Memphis, which both won Tony Awards for Best Musical. Sergio currently works and resides in New York City with his longtime partner and their son.
